Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Cardiology / Cath Lab Technologistfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures including peripheral carotid aortogram AV fistula embolization IVC filter TIPS and biopsy procedures.
Operate and maintain interventional and imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.
Ensure patient comfort and safety before during and after procedures.
Explain procedures to patients addressing questions to promote understanding and cooperation.
Prepare and maintain sterile trays instruments and procedure rooms.
Record and monitor hemodynamic data and procedural details accurately.
Assist with administration of contrast media under physician supervision.
Manage inventory and ensure availability of required equipment and supplies.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Provide support for Electrophysiology (EP) procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Associates degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
Certifications:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI).
- ARRT registration and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab EP or IR experience.
Completion of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Basic Arrhythmia courses (preferred).
EP training program completion (for EP-related roles).
