Job Title: Jr. IT Support Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Jr. IT Support Engineer to provide technical support and assistance to our employees and clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware software server cloud and network-related issues.
Respond to and resolve help desk requests in a timely manner.
Install configure and troubleshoot computer/server/network hardware and software printers and other peripherals.
Perform routine maintenance on computer systems such as backups and software updates.
Manage user accounts and permissions across various systems and applications.
Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Document and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
Assist with the testing and implementation of new software and hardware.
Work with senior IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
24/7 On-Call IT Engineering support rotation.
Travel to client locations in the local area.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
1 years of experience in IT support engineer or related role.
Strong technical skills in Windows and/or Mac operating systems Microsoft Office Active Directory and network technologies.
Working knowledge of server administration and virtualization technologies.
Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms a plus
Experience with Cisco Meraki network gear a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Relevant certifications such as A Network or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
