Pay Rate: $45/hr ($1687.50 weekly)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)for an exciting job in Gastonia NC.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor patients with moderate to high acuity.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Manage cardiac monitoring oxygen therapy and other life-support systems.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the care team for timely interventions.
Accurately document assessments interventions and patient outcomes in the EMR system.
Work closely with physicians respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatment plans and discharge care.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control safety and hospital quality standards.
Provide support during rapid response and code events using advanced life support techniques.
Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact State
BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of recent IMCU Step-Down or PCU experience
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ASN or BSN)
Strong clinical assessment communication and critical thinking skills
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
