Job Summary
Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Selectappropriate headfixturebased ongauge ofmaterial enter nest information adjust speed/feedcomponentsand run programs.
- Responsible for loading parts setting offsets simple editsdeburringand inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
- Organize workload to maximize material flowprocess.
- Communicate with managers engineers production controlqualityand other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
- Perform inspection preventativemaintenanceand ensure machines areoperatingoptimally.
- Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining andadjustsmachine within capabilities controls or control media asrequiredtoinsurequality of production.
- Act as subject matter expert and train co-workers as needed
- Maintain a neat and orderly work areacomplying withall 5S initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Follow andcomply withall safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am
Requirements
- HighSchoolDiploma or GED equivalentrequired.
- Minimum 1 yearrelated work experience required
- FormalCNC Machiningeducation or equivalent experience preferred.
- Be ableto lift a maximum of 50lbs.
- Ability to useoverhead crane.
