Job Summary
Gateway Regional School is seeking a Special Education TeacherQualified Candidates Must:Have a MA Teaching License as a Reading Specialist and/or in the area of Moderate Disabilities or Special Needs. Have a Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree Preferred 3 Years of experience teaching in a middle school or high school setting RequiredHave strong written and verbal communication skillsHave experience with Wit and Wisdom and Illustrative Math PreferredHold an unwavering belief that every student can grow and Responsibilities Include:Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in inclusion small group and/or resource room implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal with general education teachers to adapt curriculum modify instruction and provide accommodations to support student and analyze student performance data to inform instruction and progress regularly with families colleagues and related service providers to ensure consistent support for in IEP meetings team meetings and professional development a positive inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic social and emotional growth of all of pay: To be determined based on qualifications experience and contract.(Position is pending state funding)Number of Positions: 1
