• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Quality Engineering team (8 subordinates) ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

• Design implement and continuously improve manufacturing and quality processes to ensure a proactive approach to issue resolution and prevention.

• Oversee the validation of first samples (FAI) for components and assemblies in cases of new items process changes and design modifications.

• Ensure robust quality monitoring during production including internal audits and adherence to aerospace standards.

• Ensure that products and services perform according to quality standards and that manufacturing processes are capable and qualified.

• Lead efforts to resolve non-conforming parts manage exception/deviation requests and oversee repair/rework processes.

• Drive root cause analysis monitor corrective action implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions.

• Act as the primary liaison with R&D and other quality departments (incoming outgoing technical and supplier quality).

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Quality Management System and foster a culture of prevention.

• Provide comprehensive reporting on quality metrics team performance and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred.

• Proven experience in a leadership role within quality engineering preferably in aerospace or a related industry. Experience in aviation is a significant advantage but we are open to candidates from other fields of expertise as specific processes can be trained.

• Knowledge of risk prevention and familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies including 5 Why.

• Proficiency in technical drawings and analytical problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills in Czech and English (written and spoken).

• Advanced proficiency in Excel Word and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams foster collaboration and drive results.

• Strategic mindset with a focus on process improvement and proactive problem-solving.

• Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as EASA Part 21 or 145.

• Advanced knowledge of APQP methodologies.
