Job Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers a complete set of cloud services that enable all companies from startups to enterprise to run virtually everything in the cloud including mobile applications big data analytics AI/ML platforms and serverless microservices/infrastructures. Startups which are now primarily born in the cloud represent an increasingly important and critical subset of customers for AWS. Startups have unique needs priorities and growth trajectories that distinguish them from traditional businesses and require different engagement strategies and sales moves from sellers to effectively acquire grow and retain them long-term on the AWS platform.

Key job responsibilities
As AWS continues to grow rapidly we are seeking a Startup Inside Account Representative in Colombia to help drive startup growth. Your responsibilities will include generating revenue and user adoption migrations and ensuring new startups select AWS as their primary cloud provider executing sales moves from prospecting to closure. You will closely align with an account manager and counterparts in business development marketing solutions architecture and partner teams to lead the execution of coordinated market entry strategies and sales plays. You will also work closely with business development teams who are conducting strategic support global co-programming and portfolio engagement to help drive top-of-funnel customer acquisition and accelerate sales cycles in the field.

- Experience developing and executing sales strategies tactics plans processes systems and programs
- Experience working in partner management within e-commerce or technology sectors
- Experience building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue adoption and market penetration

- Speak write and read fluently in English and have the ability to take direction in English
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
