What We Are Looking For
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist fabricators with the preparation and assembly of materials for fabrication projects.
- Operate machinery and equipment under supervision to cut bend and shape materials according to specifications.
- Assist in welding as directed by experienced fabricators.
- Perform MIG welding of components and assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in fabrication operations.
- Perform paint prep and paint when required.
- Minimum of 5 years MIG welding and general fabrication experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Basic understanding of fabrication processes and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Additional vocational training or certification in welding.
- Must maintain regular punctual attendance to meet productivity standards.
- Possess or be able to obtain a forklift certification upon hire.
- Valid Drivers license
