About the role:

As theSenior Platform Architect you will be responsible for designing and delivering moderncloud platform engineering solutions with a strong emphasis onconsulting project delivery oversight and pre-sales support. You will act as atrusted advisor and subject matter expert collaborating with clients partners and internal business units to ensure engagements meet both technical and business objectives. This role combineshands-on technical expertisewithstrategic consulting contributing to solution design client advisement and the development of best practices.

What Youll do:

• Design develop and overseethe implementation of consulting and hands-on service offerings forplatform engineering.
• Serve as acloud-native technical consultant assessing client business needs and recommending scalable secure solutions across the cloud and platform engineering ecosystem.
• Align solution architectures withindustry standards and best practices working closely with cross-functional engineering and consulting teams.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to ensure successful delivery of client projects and identify opportunities for continued partnership and service expansion.
• Draw upon your consulting experience to establish long-term relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers positioning yourself as a trusted technical advisor.
• Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and consulting frameworks that enhance service delivery and operational maturity.
• Develop and deliver proof of concepts (POCs) that demonstrate the value of proposed solutions and drive client adoption.
• Support business development efforts by creating level-of-effort estimates technical proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
• Providethought leadership in cloud-native technologies DevOps and platform engineering contributing to internal enablement and market differentiation.
• Stay current with advancements inplatform engineering automation and observability and integrate emerging technologies into solution strategies.
• Maintainenterprise use cases success stories and reference architecturesto support go-to-market initiatives and consulting offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
• Provenconsulting background with hands-on expertise incloud-native DevOps and platform engineering
• Deep experience withKubernetes (K8s)and related technologies includingEKS AKS GKE and OpenShift.
• Familiarity withDevOps and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins GitHub GitLab and Harness.
• Experience withobservability solutions andOpenTelemetry (OTEL).
• Knowledge ofdeveloper portals such as BackStage or comparable platforms.
• Understanding of Kubernetesoperators and tools likeCiliumandCrossplane.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/orDevOps Engineercertification preferred.
• 5 years of experience implementing and supportingcloud compute networking and storage services.
• Experience withcloud operations including performance monitoring and management using native and third-party tools.
• Strongscripting proficiency in Python Ruby or GoLang.
• Highly organized detail-oriented and adept at prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellentconsultative communication skills capable of understanding client needs facilitating technical discussions and guiding solution decisions collaboratively.
• Experience producing detailedarchitecture testing and as-built documentation.
• Comfortable managingmultiple concurrent projects while maintaining delivery excellence in a client-facing consulting capacity.
