Job Summary
The Career Center Manager provides leadership for one of our Career Centers setting up job pans and identifying community partnerships to optimize participant services.
Essential Job Duties
- Works with individuals who are seeking economic mobility.
- Develops career plans and sets goals with clear objectives around education and training employment and resources.
- Maintains Career Center opening and closing the facility ensuring the center is fully staffed and prepared to provide services.
- Utilizes and navigates Case Worthy database and inputs career plans and data into systems.
- Coordinating on-site employer job fairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
- Experience in job readiness counseling/ instruction preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service focus.
- Strong internet Microsoft Word Outlook skills required.
- Clear professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask & make decisions under pressure understanding deadlines.
- Partnership & Business Development skills.
- Coaching Development and Leadership Skills.
- Conflict management skills.
- Understanding of Goodwills brand and overall brand awareness and ability to assist with Mission strategy development.
- Understanding of Goodwills relationship with NCWorks and eachs operations.
- Must be able to travel within assigned territory.
