An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the for the introduction of new products and updating current products

The Role
- Creating manufacturing drawings communicating job requirements clearly and concisely
- Experience in the design and layout of farm buildings and design for the animal flow required
- Read and interpret technical drawings specify components and ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
- Manage projects with sales through at all stages of the project development to ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Work in close collaboration with the sales team in the design and layout of new projects
The Person
- Experience as a Design Engineer within manufacturing
- AutoCad 2D and 3D
- Knowledge of materials and ability to cost projects as required
- Full driving licence
