- Salary: MPS/UPS SENCO Allowance (dependent on experience)
- Suitable for: Experienced SENCOs or aspiring leaders with SEND expertise
About the Role
As an experienced and proactive SENCO you will lead on identifying and supporting pupils with additional needs ensuring high-quality provision across the school. The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a SENCO working closely with colleagues parents and external agencies to maximise pupil outcomes and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the schools SEN provision as a SENCO
- Support and challenge pupils with additional needs
- Advise and guide staff on inclusive teaching strategies as a SENCO
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues parents and external professionals
- Contribute to the schools ethos of high expectations achievement and care
What Were Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Hold QTS and relevant SENCO qualification (or are working towards)
- Are knowledgeable proactive and reflective as a SENCO
- Have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Can inspire and support staff to provide inclusive and differentiated learning opportunities
