Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SENCO to join our highly inclusive and supportive Primary School in Tower Hamlets. This is a permanent role starting January 2026 offering the chance to lead and shape the schools SEND provision.

Key Information

  • Position: SENCO
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: Full Time Term Time Only
  • Salary: MPS/UPS SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)
  • Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SENCO committed to supporting pupils with additional needs. As a SENCO you will lead the SEND provision across the school ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will take on the responsibilities of a SENCO working closely with teachers parents and external agencies to deliver tailored support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision as a SENCO
  • Support teachers in delivering inclusive lessons for all pupils
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment as a SENCO
  • Collaborate with colleagues parents and external professionals
  • Contribute to the schools ethos of high expectations and achievement

  • Hold NASENCO OR NPQ SENCO or experience in SEND leadership
  • Are enthusiastic creative and able to make learning meaningful as a SENCO
