Job Insight

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil CAD Designer / Technician to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support engineers in preparing design drawings and technical documentation for site development land development and transportation projects. This position requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project-driven environment

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Collaborate with engineers to develop design layouts grading plans and utility drawings.
Compile project documentation using standard office software.
Conduct research and assist with field visits to gather site data.
Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Perform quality control (QC) reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
Maintain project schedules and assist in meeting deliverable deadlines.
Support the development of design standards guidelines and templates.

Qualifications:

1 5 years of relevant experience in civil drafting or design.
Associate or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Drafting or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (MicroStation or similar software is a plus).
Understanding of civil engineering principles related to site and land development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate high-quality work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Field experience and familiarity with construction drawings are advantageous.
