Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician II to join our family. We are looking for a service tech to dispatch out of St Louis MO.
Description:
- Take Service calls to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Travel to customer sites across in the U.S. and troubleshoot electric pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical issues with the saws and equipment.
- Perform periodic maintenance and repair equipment on customer saws in the field.
- Work with the parts department to ensure the correct parts are ordered to complete the repair.
- Use tools such as dial indicators calipers CMM and multimeter to measure flatness perpendicularity parallelism while inspecting equipment.
- While in house assist assembly in completing build of saws.
- Complete service reports and travel documentation in timely manner.
- Work with Service Manager to identify process issues and assist in development on new processes.
- Read blue prints and diagrams to install/troubleshoot equipment.
- Install new parts and equipment and test to ensure proper operation.
- Explain issues to customers and walk through troubleshooting remotely if necessary.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of electrical experience
- 2 years of maintenance/mechanical experience
- 2 years of trouble shooting experience
- Great Work ethic
- Preferred:
- 5 years of troubleshooting experience
- Electrical or mechanical certifications
- Forklift experience
