Primary Job Title: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
About the Opportunity
Healthcare Primary & Secondary Clinical Services sector. On-site clinical role based in Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh delivering front-line medical care across outpatient inpatient and emergency settings. This position will support a busy local hospital/clinic network ensuring safe timely and protocol-driven patient management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide first-line clinical assessment and management of patients presenting to OPD wards and emergency including triage and initial stabilisation.
- Perform emergency procedures and life-support interventions as required (airway management IV access basic resuscitation) and escalate to senior clinicians when needed.
- Deliver routine inpatient care: admission assessment daily rounding medication orders discharge planning and follow-up instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation prescriptions and handover notes in accordance with hospital protocols and medical records standards.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate findings with consulting specialists nursing staff and allied health teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure adherence to infection control patient safety practices and local clinical guidelines; participate in audit and quality-improvement activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree with completed internship
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council
- Patient triage
- Emergency resuscitation
- IV cannulation
- ECG interpretation
Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in a hospital emergency department or general medicine ward
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
