Job Description

The Salesforce Delivery Lead / Principal Architect will be responsible for leading the architectural design integration strategy and technical delivery of a multi-org Salesforce environment during a major system transition. This role will ensure seamless integration between multiple Salesforce instances aligning business processes and data models across platforms.

The role will temporarily provide coverage during the current Salesforce Architects maternity leave and ensure continuity in system design governance and delivery.

Youll be working closely with cross-functional teams—Business IT and Integration partners—to deliver scalable secure and high-performing Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions for a multi-org setup.
Define and oversee integration strategy between Salesforce instances and enterprise systems (ERP Data Warehouse Marketing etc.).
Partner with stakeholders to ensure smooth post-transaction system alignment following mergers or acquisitions.
Govern Salesforce technical standards design patterns and platform best practices.
Support delivery teams through technical leadership code reviews and solution validation.
Provide hands-on guidance on Sales Cloud Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Pardot configuration and customization.
Develop data migration and synchronization strategies between orgs and systems.
Ensure compliance and security in architecture decisions across environments.
Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams to maintain automated deployment pipelines.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical leadership on Salesforce ecosystem decisions.

Mandatory Skills

Salesforce Architecture Expertise: Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale Salesforce solutions.
Multi-Org Integration Experience: Strong background in integrating multiple Salesforce orgs post-acquisition or merger.
Salesforce Clouds Expertise: Hands-on with Sales Cloud Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Pardot.
Integration Design: Deep experience with middleware (e.g. MuleSoft Boomi Informatica or custom APIs).
Technical Leadership: Experience guiding technical teams reviewing solutions and enforcing architecture standards.
Data Migration & Synchronization: Proven ability to handle large data volumes mappings and transformations.
Enterprise Architecture Alignment: Understanding of TOGAF or similar frameworks for enterprise-level architecture governance.

Highly Desired Skills

Salesforce Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or
- Application / System Architect
- Sales Cloud / FSC Consultant
Experience in Industry Clouds: e.g. Financial Services Healthcare or Manufacturing Clouds.
CI/CD and DevOps: Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset Copado Jenkins).
Post-Transaction Integration Experience: M&A integration or multi-instance consolidation experience.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and leadership skills to bridge business and technical teams.
Knowledge of API & Security Standards: OAuth SSO JWT and platform encryption.
Agile / SAFe Methodologies: Familiarity with scaled agile environments for enterprise program delivery.
