Job Summary

Our client is seeking a meticulous and motivated Creditors Accountant to join their energetic finance team. Perform accurate and timelysupplier account reconciliationsand ensure valid supporting documents are received
Review theOutstanding Supplier Listregularly to identify pending items and payment priorities
Ensureprompt and accurate supplier payments verifying invoices against internal systems and addressing discrepancies
Accuratelycapture all paymentsin the accounting and booking systems to maintain correct supplier balances
Submit reconciliations and payment packs to theTeam Leader by set deadlines
Send remittance advice and proof of paymentto suppliers by close of business following payment runs
Monitor and manage theSupplier Aged Analysis especially accounts over 60 days
Investigate and resolveinvoice discrepancies ensuring proper documentation and approvals for any losses
Maintainprofessional supplier relationships ensuring clear communication and adherence to payment terms
Support withteam tasks and provide backupduring high-volume periods or staff shortages
Skills & Experience:
5 Years experience in creditors
Forex NON-NEGOTIABLE
Excellent communication skills
Sage 300 - ADVANTAGEOUS
E-commerce ADVANTAGEOUS
Self-motivated
Ability to work under pressure
Specialist in creditors
Strong relationship building
Qualification:
Degree/ Diploma in Finance
