Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our Southeast Tulsa team. The Machinist will be responsible for the precise setup programming and operation of both CNC and manual lathes and mills to machine complex parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who values craftsmanship precision and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture parts according to drawings or instructions.
Operate manual mill and lathe machines for precision component production.
Inspect all machined parts using micrometers calipers and height gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Retrieve correct tooling perform accurate setups and maintain proper machine calibration.
Make offsets and edits independently with minimal supervision.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and machines.
Meet daily and weekly production quotas.
Perform all tasks required of a Safety Sensitive position in compliance with OSHA standards.
Participate in R&D design reviews and mentor lower-level machinists to enhance team performance.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of experience programming and operating CNC and manual machines.
Proficient with CNC machinery micrometers calipers and height gauges.
Solid understanding of geometry trigonometry and blueprint reading.
Strong attention to detail critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and follow complex technical instructions.
Basic computer proficiency and effective communication skills (verbal and written).

Physical Requirements

Frequent bending standing walking kneeling and reaching throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with power tools and machinery.
Clear hearing vision and manual dexterity for precise measurement and tool handling.
Exposure to smoke dust and bright lighting typical of a machining environment.
