Position Overview
Were seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to repair install and maintain electrical systems and equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Electrician will perform hands-on electrical work involving power distribution control systems motors and electronic components ensuring machinery and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Install maintain and repair electrical systems wiring and components for machines conveyors and automated equipment.
Follow electrical codes schematics manuals blueprints and diagrams to perform accurate installations and repairs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical and electronic components using meters voltage testers and circuit analyzers.
Replace or repair defective components such as relays switches circuit boards transformers and electric motors.
Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines or facility upgrades.
Collaborate with mechanical and maintenance teams to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.
Test and verify repairs to ensure systems meet operational and safety standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed including parts used and system readings.
Qualifications
3 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems schematics and troubleshooting procedures.
Familiarity with industrial automation PLCs robotics and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Proficient with multimeters oscilloscopes and other diagnostic equipment.
Must follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
Journeyman or Electrical License preferred but not required.
