We are currently hiring a Basic Grade Medical Scientist Histology for our client hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing maintaining and implementing laboratory protocols and testing equipment procedures.
Support the implementation of operational processes that align with best practice standards to optimise resource use.
Contribute to a patient-centred quality management programme by measuring and auditing performance and client satisfaction.
Perform all scientific duties in compliance with INAB and JCI accreditation standards as directed by the Senior Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager.
Prioritise and manage workloads efficiently during busy periods ensuring timely coordination of multiple concurrent tests.
Collaborate with colleagues on the introduction of new technologies and innovations in line with hospital policies.
Participate in the registration tracking and maintenance of laboratory stock in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.
- Experience in Histology essential.
- Experience in Cut Up would be advantageous
- Post qualification experience.

Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high professional standards. Ability to work independently while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
Required Education:
Post qualification experience. Must be CORU registered
