Job Summary
A warm and adventurous family based in Nosara Costa Rica is seeking an experienced live-in bilingual nannyeducator to join their household and provide nurturing educational care for their two young children aged one and three. This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional nanny or early years educator who thrives in a globally minded child-centred environment and enjoys combining travel education and care.

The role is predominantly shared care working alongside the parents and within a fully staffed household that includes two nannies and domestic support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education ideally trained in Montessori Waldorf or Reggio Emilia philosophies and hold at least eight years experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Day to day the nanny will plan and lead engaging activities tailored to each childs developmental stage nurture social-emotional growth and support healthy routines. The childrens days are filled with creativity storytelling music and outdoor play and the family appreciates someone who can integrate these interests into a balanced and enriching routine. Comfort with dietary considerations pets and mindful living is essential as is the ability to adapt to both rural and urban settings.
The position involves international travel to destinations including New York Madrid and other parts of Europe so flexibility and cultural openness are key. Fluency in English is essential and Spanish would be an advantage. The nanny will be provided with a private self-contained flat within the familys Costa Rican home and will join a kind collaborative and forward-thinking household that values respect professionalism and joy in daily life.
