Are you an experienced Automation and Virtualisation Specialist skilled in leading large-scale ICT transformation projects

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a key Commonwealth government department to find a skilled and motivated Automation and Virtualisation Specialist. Our client plays a pivotal role in delivering technological innovation and supporting the advancement of Australias economy.

In this role you will manage complex virtualisation environments spearhead automation solutions and collaborate on infrastructure upgrades all while mentoring team members and driving organisational excellence. Youll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies influencing the evolution of critical data centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the management and continuous improvement of enterprise-level Aria Automation NSX-T and VMware vSphere environments
Design develop and implement robust monitoring systems using Aria Operations to ensure optimal infrastructure performance
Create comprehensive and user-friendly technical documentation including design specifications build guides and operational procedures
Provide proactive after-hours on-call support to maintain critical infrastructure systems
Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the infrastructure team
Drive scalable and efficient automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability of infrastructure services

Key Skills and Experience:

Extensive and hands-on experience with Aria Automation 8.x VMware NSX-T vSphere and Aria Operations
Proficiency in scripting capabilities in PowerShell PowerCLI YAML and JavaScript
Proven ability to produce clear concise and detailed technical documentation and process workflows
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
