Purpose and main priorities of the role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and financially astute Business Controller to join our controlling team. This role is central to supporting financial decision-making across manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on performance analysis and KPI monitoring (both in terms of profit and loss/balance sheet) covering our Italian entities. The Business Controller will work closely with the Industrial Controlling team to ensure alignment between financial insights and operational realities contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze sales performance and contribution margins to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee financial reporting and control of top-line revenues fixed costs and profitability metrics.
• Conduct targeted inventory analysis to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Analyze cash flow for the month/year to date performance.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve cost control and business performance.
• Collaborate with plant and industrial controllers to align financial insights with production realities.
• Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis across manufacturing operations.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics or related field
• 45 years of experience in business controlling and FP&A preferably in an industrial environment.
• Availability to regularly travel to the companys plants.
• Good understanding of budgeting forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Comfortable using data analysis platforms like Power BI with an open mind to learning new digital tools.
• Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
