The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact
1. You will ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations integrating safety best practices into factory quality processes.
2. You will lead the implementation of global and local quality strategies driving structured data-driven quality execution to enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.
3. You will coordinate closely with suppliers on quality issues complaints and other concerns relating to the delivery of goods or services.
4. You will conduct regular reviews of existing systems and processes to identify areas where improvements can be made to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. You will champion customer satisfaction by integrating the Voice of the Customer into factory quality initiatives and resolving customer complaints effectively.
6. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and global standards maintaining certification and embedding quality assurance and control methods into factory operations.
7. You will monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards also drive continuous improvement by embedding Lean Six Sigma principles into factory operations and leading quality enhancement projects.
8. You will provide guidance to employees regarding best practices for maintaining high levels of quality assurance and collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve complex problems and implement solutions effectively.
9. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
2. Required with minimum 5 years of experience working in manufacturing environment with proven track record of successful project implementation.
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail essential.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
5. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles highly desirable and ability to travel internationally occasionally required.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) essential.
7. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal essential.
