Travel MRI Technologist
Location: Elmhurst NY
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: 35 hours/week 4:00 PM 12:00 AM Monday through Friday with alternating weekends and holidays
Pay (Travel): Up to $2724/Week

Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel MRI Technologistfor an exciting job in Elmhurst NY.

Responsibilities:

Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
Accurately position patients and perform safety screenings for contraindications (e.g. pacemakers metal implants).
Administer contrast media following established protocols and monitor patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
Inspect calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support accurate and timely diagnoses.
Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
Participate in a two-week training program including EPIC system training (9:00 AM 5:00 PM).

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License.
Current ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification.
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care or Level 1 trauma setting.
Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred.
BLS certification (AHA) preferred.
