Job Summary
General Summary
Performs a variety of routine and/or low dollar value buying/purchasing tasks.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Responsible for purchasing materials supplies and/or services for the company *
- Reviews purchase requisitions *
- Places orders for supplies etc. with approved suppliers *
- May assist with evaluation of bids and/or recommend suppliers.
- May coordinate with accounting department as needed to resolve questions on suppliers invoices.
- Provides routine administrative support.
- May assist in research and negotiations with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications regarding minor purchases.
