Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary part-time AP Clerk at our Austin Bridge & Road corporate headquarters in Coppell Texas. Our temp AP will assist with data management of invoices including reviewing scanning and distributing to the appropriate individuals for processing. This is a great opportunity for early career professionals looking to start their career in accounting. Works hours and work days will be discussed/offers flexibility. Position reports 100% onsite and does not offer remote/hybrid reporting structure.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing scanning and distributing invoices to appropriate departments or job sites
- Monitor shared AP email box and direct emails to appropriate individuals
- Maintain organized digital records for audit and reporting purposes
- Support document control and administrative tasks as needed within AP
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associates degree and/or 2 years of college preferred
- 1 year of experience in data entry or administrative support
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Dependable and capable of working efficiently and independently in a professional setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple priorities under stress
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Familiarity with accounting cycles and accounts payable processes
- Moderate in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
