Job Summary

Position Summary

Were looking for a dependable and motivatedWarehouse Specialistto join our team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of a team that keeps our warehouse operations running smoothly. The Warehouse Associate will support multiple areas of warehouse operations including shipping receiving and packaging based on business needs.

This role is M-F 8am - 5pm. You can verify this position at is currently a temporary rolewith the potential to hire on full time. If hired the person will go through a trial period as an agency employee. More details will be provided if considered.

Relevant Experience

Candidates with experience in the following roles or environments often excel in this position due to the structured detail-oriented nature of the work:

Military Service Particularly veterans with backgrounds in maintenance logistics or construction who are accustomed to strict protocols and chain-of-command operations.
Fabrication and Assembly Roles Including structural ironwork conduit support installation light metal fabrication or modular assembly.
Defense Contracting and Program Support Individuals familiar with working under government or DoD contracts including reading contract requirements following compliance steps and documenting work.
Warehouse Technicians with Cross-Training Those whove worked in dynamic warehouse environments where they were responsible for not only material handling but also kitting assembling or supporting project-based workflows.

What Youll Do:
Assist with general warehouse operations including receiving stocking picking packaging and shipping materials.
Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
Prepare outgoing orders by packing labeling and organizing products for delivery.
Help load and unload trucks ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work closely with warehouse leadership to complete daily priorities and support team goals.

What Were Looking For:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Dependable team-oriented and willing to assist wherever needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to learn and grow in different areas of warehouse operations.
Forklift experience or certification is a plus (but not required).
Valid drivers license preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Experience supporting military or shipbuilding supply chains.
Prior roles in fabrication metalwork or pipe/cable/conduit routing.
Cross-functional warehouse experience in regulated industries.

Licenses/Certification:

Valid Drivers license with a clean record.

Abilities

Must be self-driven to meet company/team needs.

Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents and drawings.
Professional and amicable demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Basic mathematical skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division with whole numbers fractions and decimals.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
