Job Summary

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR TRENCHER EXCAVATOR

Primary Function:Operate several types of power construction equipment to excavate move and grade earth erect structural and reinforcing steel and pour concrete or other hard surface paving materials. Must be able to turn valves to control air and water output of compressors and pumps adjust handwheels and depress pedals to drive machines and control attachments like blades buckets scrapers and swing booms.

Practical Knowledge: Basic to advanced knowledge of construction means and methods specific to civil construction ability to read plans and specifications soils preventative maintenance and inspections of heavy equipment hand signals used in trade.

Qualifications: Experience in excavations and underground piping for water sewer PVC and ductile iron.

Travel: Job assignment could be further than a reasonable commute distance from home.

Compensation: DOQ - benefits offered.
