Job Description:
As a Test and Verification Architect in the IVRS (Integration Verification Release and Support) department you work with colleagues from all over the world. You are part of the IVRS Leadership team participating in the weekly Leadership team meetings together with IVRS management and program leaders.
In you daily work your responsibilities include:
- Drive the system test & verification architecture and ensure that test & verification team use the right tools and verification methods
- Create roadmap for system test & verification labs including the infrastructure development
- Drive actions to ensure system test and verification is efficient and effective
- Support colleagues with work in Embedded real time systems preparing test environments test codes and test applications based on system requirements system implementation proposals and international standards.
- Perform review of test specifications test plans test reports etc. and highlight improvement needs and support the organization in achieving them.
- Support colleagues projects and design organizations with the larger and more complex test analysis and test/release strategies
- Keep track of the industry trends adoption of best practices within IVRS
- Support with troubleshooting of difficult and complex customer and/or internal issues.
You need to:
- Collaborate with teams globally to improve on the way of working with verification
- Support & work together with the team with at times complex verification activities
- Contribute with continuous improvements for the products & solutions under development processes lab setups verification frameworks etc
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering (Computer Science Electrical engineering or Electronics engineering)
- More than 5 years of experience working as a Test and Verification architect or similar
Must Have:
- Very good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise applications
- Extensive experience with CI/CD
- Extensive knowledge and experience in software verification and test automation
- A deep knowledge on industry trends within software and hardware verification
- Knowledge of standards related to system verification and validation
- Knowledge of graphical programming tools e.g. LabVIEW MATLAB Simulink LT spice HiDraw MACH platform.
- Good knowledge in power electronics
- Very good technical documentation skills
- Strong communication both verbal and written
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Proficiency in English
Good to Have:
- Experience from building system verification labs
- Swedish is an added advantage
