Human Resources Specialist - Training and Development

We are a fast-growing startup organization seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team as a key player in supporting the organizations human resources functions. The Human Resources Specialist will work closely with HR management to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies procedures and programs. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills a keen understanding of HR practices and the ability to contribute to the overall success of the organization.As a growing organization we offernumerous opportunities for professional growth.

Worksite Location: Onsite Ellabell GA

Schedule:Fulltime Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities for Human Resources Specialist:

  • Align Training with Organizational Goals: Ensure training programs support strategic objectives and workforce development.
  • Conduct Needs Assessments: Identify skill gaps and learning needs through data analysis.
  • Plan and Design Training Programs: Create customized learning solutions using modern instructional design principles.
  • Deliver Training: Facilitate engaging sessions using appropriate tools and platforms.
  • Evaluate and Improve: Monitor training effectiveness and continuously enhance programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Maintain Training Schedules: Oversee HR training calendar and ensure timely execution of learning initiatives.
  • Participates in the recruitment screening and orientation for all candidates
  • Post new opening job
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Processes required paperwork for employee transfers changes in job classification salary increases and other related employment matters.
  • Manages HR Projects & various miscellaneous administrative activities
  • Responsible for maintaining HR training and employee relations schedule
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment organization-wide meetings employee recognition events holiday parties and retirement celebrations.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files records and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies benefits hiring processes etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Human Resources Specialist:

  • 3 years experience in Human Resources setting
  • PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.


This role routinely uses standard office equipment including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting typing and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Human Resources Specialist is $55700-$61600.The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to specific skills or certifications years of experience market changes and required travel.
