UCT is looking for a talentedMaterial Handler Lead to join us inSingapore!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help establish and document material handling procedures
- Understand the implications of work and recommend solutions
- Work closely with manufacturing to provide materials as needed; issue material from the stockroom to manufacturing
- May provide guidance to other non-exempt warehouse employees
- Maintain correct inventory levels in the stockroom
- May determine methods and procedures for new assignments and adhere to established guidelines
- Prepare reports and conduct inventories in the stockroom
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner
- Maintain safe practices at all times
- Use the inventory database and become proficient in the receiving and stockroom related transactions
- Maintain a professional relationship with all vendors and delivery people
- Comply with company quality assurance methodologies and goals
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- May drive company truck and/or forklift
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
Experience Requirement:
- 4 to 6 years of related experience in a variety of roles
- Forklift and pallet jack operating experience
