About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our this role you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction by applying innovative electrical engineering principles to the development of cutting-edge packaging and processing machinery and systems.

You will be reporting to the Product Development Manager - Automation and be based in our head office at Sydney Olympic Park.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

All aspects of machine electrical design and development.
Developing PLC/HMI programs for systems or equipment.
Providing support to different stakeholders both within and without the company
Ensure conformance to TNAs and international standards for machinery and turnkey systems
Travel internationally to support machines and systems.

Desired Knowledge Skills and Experience

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years experience.
Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food & beverage or packaging) is advantageous
Knowledge & experience with AutoCAD Electrical and PLC/HMI programming is an advantage
Knowledge of Australian and International standards is an advantage
Knowledge of machinery safety concepts and requirements is an advantage
Ability to read and interpret electrical Schematics.
Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
High level of English language proficiency both written and verbal
