Job Summary
Social Finance LLC seeks Senior Credit Strategy Analyst/ Senior Data Scientist in San
Francisco CA:
Job Duties: Architect credit underwriting pre-screen targeting A/B testing and credit
limit assignment strategies. Utilize deep analysis to power the future of credit card
using a comprehensive data ecosystem including multi-product internal data credit
bureaus and alternative data. Seek to drive continuous improvements in strategies and
processes. Work collaboratively with the Data Science team to design new machine
learning models. Partner closely with implementation teams to accurately deploy new
strategies. Work with other business partners across Business Unit Operations
Marketing Finance Legal and Compliance etc. to deliver successful business results.
Understand credit risk and develop approaches to mitigate loss and responsibly grow
revenue. Monitor performance of strategies and portfolios. Document and communicate
results and escalate issues as necessary. Identify gaps/opportunities and drive actions.
Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Sofi offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer
Science Finance Mathematics Statistics Business Administration Engineering (any
field) or a related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job
offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) credit risk strategy; (2) consumer credit analytics; (3)
credit strategy analytical life cycle; (4) analytical strategy development; (5) customer
performance data; (6) bureau attributes; (7) EXCEL; (8) SQL; (9) Python; (10) Decision
Trees; (11) regression; (12) logistic regression; (13) A/B testing; (14) Tableau. Any
suitable combination of education training and/or experience is acceptable.
Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Sofi offices may be required.
Salary: $188885.00 - $217218.00 per annum.
