Opelika Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian who thrives in a busy community-focused setting. Whether youre an experienced DVM or a new graduate wed love to meet you! Our hospital has been a trusted part of the Opelika and Auburn communities for over 45 years. Were a fast-paced walk-in small animal clinic known for our friendly family-like atmosphere and dedication to quality care. We offer everything from wellness exams to specialized surgeries enabling our clients and their pets to develop a lifelong relationship with our doctors by offering that small town family clinic appeal with all the medical care of larger hospitals.
Schedule and Work-Life Balance
- Supportive environment for both experienced DVMs and new graduates
- Mentorship through longer appointments hands-on surgical training and shadowing
- Flexible schedule: 44.5 days/week (10-hour shifts)
- No after-hours or on-call duties
- We maintain a 1:1 doctor-to-technician ratio
Our Facility & Equipment
- Stand-alone hospital with 3 exam rooms 2 surgery suites and a boarding area
- Equipped with digital X-ray and were adding a new dental machine soon
- 100% small animal practice seeing an average of 40-50 patients per day
