About the Project
HomeCom Easy is a mobile application developed by Bosch that allows users to remotely control their compatible heating air conditioning and hot water systems. Designed for convenience and energy efficiency the app provides a simple and intuitive interface to manage home climate directly from a smartphone or tablet.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop software for native Android applications for connectivity products (e.g. intelligent room thermostats) based on product and process requirements.
Participate in requirement and solution discussions with local and remote developers suppliers and customers.
Create software prototypes including the development and integration of individual software components into full software products.
Design document and implement software based on defined architecture.
Design document and support the implementation of unit and UI tests.
Support the continuous improvement of software development and maintenance processes within the department.
Collaborate within an internationally distributed Agile software development team.
Qualifications :
Requirements
Education in Computer Science Software Engineering or a similar field.
Ability to design develop debug and test using Kotlin for Android platforms.
It is considered an advantage if you fulfill some of the following:
Knowledge and experience using Kotlin;
Understanding of Android platform architecture;
Experience with common Android design patterns (MVP MVVM);
Familiarity with UI/UX design concepts applied to Android development;
Strong knowledge of testing with JUnit and Espresso;
Competence in understanding and designing with UML;
Experience with formal configuration management tools (e.g. Atlassian suite).
Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
Ability to take responsibility for own work and show initiative in problem-solving.
Strong product development focus and customer orientation.
A team player with a proactive and dynamic attitude.
Willingness to travel when required.
