Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage Service team in Mysuru India. As a GSA you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
- Provide information about menu items specials and local cuisine to enhance guest experience
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings including local Mysuru cuisine
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Accurate cash handling abilities
- Exceptional multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food handling certification preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
