Job Summary

This is an in-office position during training then hybrid after. Must live in the Kansas City market/surrounding areas. The office is located in Overland Park KS 66211.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Home Health Administrative Assistantto join our team. They will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our home health services handling correspondence scheduling documentation and clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings including scheduling making travel arrangements and ensuring meeting amenities are available

  • Use office equipment such as photocopiers faxes and printers

  • Distribute incoming mail prepare outgoing mail file and maintain office supplies andinventory

  • Prepare expense reports and maintain accurate documentation

  • Support office staff and management with various administrative tasks

  • Manage group email inbox

  • Assist with licensure research and compliance activities

  • Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities

  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations

  • Works within defined parameters with some latitude over prioritization and timing

  • Ability to interpret policies and exercise independent discretion

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelors degree

  • Previous administrative or related experience

  • Notary

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications not listed under Requirements section

Additional Information:

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees ability to work effectively the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

  • Satellite cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California Illinois Montana or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees will be provided with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills knowledge experience education certifications etc.


$44900 - $60200 per year
