Job Summary

Position Summary
The EventSales Director oversees all private and public event operations andsupports the General Manager as the secondary leader of the property. This roleinvolves developing best operational practices in partnership with the RegionalEvent Sales Director and with department heads to drive sales while controllingexpenses and COGS. The DEO manages the event service teams event productionand execution oversees event staff hiring and ensures training on companyculture and service responsibilities.

Overview of Responsibilities

Event Operations Management

SpearheadPrivate and Public Event Operations from conception through execution

Work inpartnership with Event Sales teams to develop concise and consistent internalcommunication tools Banquet EventOrders TripleSeat Weekly Meeting Agendas

Inpartnership with Event Sales teams strategize develop and produce servicespace design Floorplans Maps FlowCharts

Streamlineclient relations and assist Event Sales teams in developing operations relatedchecklists and organizational flow of communications between sales andoperations

Identifypotential risks associated with event operations and develop contingency plansto ensure event success and compliance

Collaboratewith General Manager and/or Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing resourceallocation to ensure event is adequately staffed supplied and equipped

Communicateoperational details to relative departments in a timely manner

Assistsin managing property and internal departments ensuring successful execution ofevents and daily activities

AddressEvent Service issues in collaboration with the General Manager

Overseespre-event messaging and event operations notes

Conductmonthly staff meetings to promote communication and morale

ManageEvent Service teams and uphold service standards and expectations

Establishand maintain vendor relationships and ensure service success and policyadherence

Meet withdepartment heads weekly to ensure operational alignment on upcoming events

Overseeevent staffing and inventories monitor event operations and ensure clientsatisfaction

Leadership

Foster apositive company culture and maintain a professional workforce

Overseestaff training and development conducting performance evaluations anddisciplinary actions as needed

Conductregular staff and management meetings

Ensure asafe working environment and proper incident reporting

Handlerecruitment onboarding and personnel issues in partnership with GM HR andRegional Director

Hiring and Training

Maintaintraining documents and monitor new hire training

Ensureongoing training for new and existing staff and coordinate new menu trainingwith the Chef

Reviewnew hire paperwork and company policies with new employees

Financial Responsibilities

MonitorEvent Sales revenue and manage labor budgets

Work inpartnership with Culinary and Beverage departments in monitoring and improvingCOGS

Analyzesales reports and review payroll punches to enforce labor controls

ProduceLabor reports to improve expenses and review monthly budget and P&Lstatements

Administration

Ensureproper scheduling and completion of administrative tasks

Overseepayroll administration and personnel communication regarding benefits inpartnership with HR

Ensureaccurate reporting and system entries

Minimum Qualifications

5 yearsof experience in a high-volume restaurant venue or similar setting

Provenleadership and commitment to excellence

Strongfinancial and business acumen

Passionfor hospitality food wine and music

Abilityto multitask and manage projects in a fast-paced environment

Strongmentoring training and accountability skills

Detail-orientedwith strong execution skills

Knowledgeof health department regulations

Exceptionalcommunication skills

Strongculinary and wine knowledge

Proficientin English and basic business math

Technologicallyproficient

Abilityto meet physical demands of the role

Flexiblescheduling availability including nights weekends and holidays
