As the Staffing Coordinator at Allina Health Restorative Suites you will play a key part in supporting our nursing team by managing daily and long-term schedules coordinating shift coverage and ensuring adequate staffing for quality resident care.
Position Type:Full-Time benefits eligible position
Shifts Available:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Wage Range: $27 - $31 / hour depending on experience
Staffing Coordinator responsibilities:
- Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
- Interview candidates for open CNA positions.
- Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
- Track continuing educational programs for staff.
- Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
- Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
- Stock memory care units and care suites with supplies each week.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Staffing Coordinator skills and requirements:- 1-2 yearsprior staffing/scheduling experience highly preferred.
- Must have flexibility in scheduling including on-call hours.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents families and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent customer service skills.
