We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to assist with monitoring measuring and improving of the Repair Station Quality Management System (QMS) processes procedures and practices to ensure the organizations compliance and overall performance meets Stakeholder expectations.

The Quality Technician will perform independent reviews and assessments of the repair station performance including Quality Assurance (QA) lessons learned industry best practices technology operations and risks and will provide insight and guidance on opportunities for improvement.

What You Will Do:

  • Evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of the QMS of business sites and programs.
  • Assists to identify and address areas where the adequacy of area/program plans requirements analyses risk mitigation plans certification/verification/validation/qualification approaches and process/product noncompliance have the potential to impact overall mission success.
  • Responsible for continuously reviewing quality performance to ensure the customer requirements are met. Supports Quality Manager with continuous improvement projects as well as corrective and preventive actions.
  • Works with other functions to ensure systems are compliant efficient and can deliver to customer requirements.
  • Develops conducts and supports the internal audit program including providing feedback on non-compliance and corrective action(s).
  • Supports Customer Service with requests for Quality certification and documentation requests. Establishes customer relations and communications processes.
  • Provides direct assistance to the Repair Station Quality Leadership by performing various office administration tasks.
  • Prepares and maintains Quality systems (documentation processes and best practices).
  • Adheres to all EHS practices and standards across the site including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Organizational skill with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience in manufacturing or repair environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

The salary range for this role is 36000 USD - 66000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
