We are looking for a skilled Cloudera Expert Developer to join our Analytics Offering.

DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services Big Data Platforms Information Governance Business Intelligence & Data Management Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will develop and maintain advanced data pipelines and solutions on the Cloudera/Hadoop stack ensuring seamless integration and automation across environments through CI/CD pipelines.

• You will work closely with architects data engineers and DevOps teams to build reliable scalable and efficient data processing systems that empower analytics and data-driven decision-making.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the Cloudera ecosystem.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards development practices and deployment automation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Spark (Scala or PySpark) and Hadoop ecosystem (Hive HDFS Impala Oozie Kafka etc.).

• Solid hands-on experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar Big Data platforms.

• Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar).

• Familiarity with Linux-based environments and scripting (Bash Python).

• Experience in building scalable distributed data processing systems.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud integration (AWS Azure or GCP) for hybrid Cloudera deployments.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).

• Exposure to data governance and security frameworks (Apache Ranger Atlas).

• Understanding of data quality lineage and metadata management.

• Cloudera or Spark-related certifications.
