Service Manager
Location: Aberdeenshire (Macduff and Peterhead)
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time

You will be responsible for profitable efficient and smooth running of the operations and growth of the branch and to maintain and monitor the quality of the services we provide meeting the criteria of the SSSC and the Care Inspectorate in Scotland as well as ensuring we meet customer requirements and expectations.
We work in partnership with commissioners and others to develop and deliver high-quality care in the community to vulnerable people. Our goal is to provide support and care based on an enabling approach with an outcome focused support planning process.
As a large provider of social care services Mears Supported Living works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to address challenges in the social care marketplace.

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated and experienced Service Manager that holds a Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care as a minimum
Responsible for overseeingservice delivery of personalised care & support to all service users in-line with regulatory requirements
Driving and motivating a great team managing our statistics Staff performances Training Team Development and more
Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained through effective recruitment and retention in order to deliver a safe high quality service
Undertake regular reviews of the service to ensure high levels of compliance are maintained in line with regulatory requirements
Deliver a safe and viable service and take ownership of setting financial budgets and delivering the budget
Work closely with the local authority and community to ensure the scheme benefits from community engagement
Key Criteria:
SVQ Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care or the equivalent essential
Previous experience as a manager within the care sector as well as an knowledge of care standards.
Experience in line management of staff including remote staff team setting KPIs goals and monitoring progress and proficiency against
An excellent and effective communicator both verbal and written
Excellent IT Skills and competency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Be able to work in a flexible manner in line with the business needs
