Project/Training Coordinator

About the role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project and Training Coordinator to support a major project initiative. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth coordination of project activities and training delivery across multiple stakeholders and locations. The successful candidate will bring strong administrative planning and communication skills with a background in project environments and training logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support project meetings design workshops showcases and other key events.
  • Manage scheduling logistics and documentation for project activities.
  • Assist with project reporting planning and scheduling tasks.
  • Support project financial tracking and cost reconciliation.
  • Maintain project documentation including RAID logs document control and change management records.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication and coordination.
  • Training Coordination
  • Manage logistics for training delivery including scheduling invitations room bookings attendance tracking and post-training support.
  • Respond to incoming training enquiries and coordinate responses.
  • Support delivery of training sessions (face-to-face virtual train-the-trainer and one-on-one formats).
  • Collaborate with the Training Lead Change Agents and eLearning Developer to ensure effective training outcomes.
  • Travel to depots and other locations as required to support training delivery.
  • Assist in the development and management of training content collateral and quick reference guides.

The Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience in a project office or project coordination role.
  • Strong administrative organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience working with complex spreadsheets and project reporting tools.
  • Exposure to project financials procurement scheduling and cost control activities.
  • Familiarity with project tools such as RAID logs P6 OPPM and document control systems.
  • Experience in training and development coordination including content creation and delivery support is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
