Wage Scale

$17.95 per hour. This position is eligible for tips.

This position will earn a base hourly rate of $17.95/hour and will be eligible to participate in our company tip pool. Our tip pool distributions fluctuate and we cannot guarantee a certain distribution.

As aBartender you are a master of your craft. You welcome guests with genuine warmth and care and engage them with yourexpertiseand curatedbeverage recommendations. You are the life of the party and others gravitate to you. Your talent is always on display and your execution istimelyand precise. The bar environment may be fast-paced and demanding but you rise to the occasion with patience and grace.

Duties

• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Show them what Iconic Hospitality means!
• Assistguests with navigating our menu options. Utilize your extensive menu knowledge to recommend favorite beverage andfooditems per relevant likes dislikes and dietary needs.
• Create and pour cocktails wine beer spirits and other nonalcoholic beverages according to JOEY recipes and standards.
• Ensuretimelyandaccurateinput of orders in the point-of-sale system.
• Monitor andassistwith the delivery of guestbeverageandfoodorders.
• Prepare final guest checksin a timely mannerand run payments safely and securely.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency poise and good Business.
• Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol salesin accordance withstate law.
• Follow all food and alcoholservice andhandling safetyprecautions andprocedures.

Basic Qualifications

• 1-3 years bartendingexperience(If you have high potential but less experience we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in adynamicfast-paced work environment.
• Be able towalk andstand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending reaching and stretching; repetitive manual tasks;andliftand carryupto50lbs.
