Job Summary

Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical mentoring and coaching for the automation team (engineers & Technician).
Manage the commissioning and qualification of in house build automation systems as well as develop and ensure compliance with established local quality standards.
Develop maintain and implement the process automation functional agenda for the site and work with end user during initial planning stage.
Ensure function is aligned and driven to meet engineering goals production requirements and Meets Company set goals (UPH Cpk quality yield scrap safety and ESD requirements).
Function as system owner for exclusive process automation systems assigned.
Own and manage site procedures and technical standards for the automation function;
Resolve relatively complex problems independently;
Provide management support for automation contractor personnel & global support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree Professional Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering Electronic Electrical Mechatronic/Electromechanical) Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
Familiar with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production
Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.
At least 15 years working experience in related industry in mass production manufacturing environment (high volume high mix) with at least 5 years in managerial role.
Strong analytical capabilities initiative creative independent with leadership qualities and able to work under pressure in a challenging environment with strong communication skill.
