DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical mentoring and coaching for the automation team (engineers & Technician).
- Manage the commissioning and qualification of in house build automation systems as well as develop and ensure compliance with established local quality standards.
- Develop maintain and implement the process automation functional agenda for the site and work with end user during initial planning stage.
- Ensure function is aligned and driven to meet engineering goals production requirements and Meets Company set goals (UPH Cpk quality yield scrap safety and ESD requirements).
- Function as system owner for exclusive process automation systems assigned.
- Own and manage site procedures and technical standards for the automation function;
- Resolve relatively complex problems independently;
- Provide management support for automation contractor personnel & global support.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree Professional Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering Electronic Electrical Mechatronic/Electromechanical) Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
- Familiar with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production
- Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.
- At least 15 years working experience in related industry in mass production manufacturing environment (high volume high mix) with at least 5 years in managerial role.
- Strong analytical capabilities initiative creative independent with leadership qualities and able to work under pressure in a challenging environment with strong communication skill.
