Job Description:
In this role you will review and issue memos & regulatory filings and liaise with external counsel approve employment law related memos and prepare drafts on employment related policies and issues manage a team of counsels resolve contractual deadlocks and commercialization of the Infosys Groups intellectual property assets.
Responsibilities
Business Contracts: Manage contractual compliance; negotiate with external clients and vendors to resolve contractual deadlocks.
Regulatory Compliance: Approve and issue memos; prepare memos on complex regulatory issues; independently liaise with external counsel as required.
Dispute Resolution: Issue briefing notes to internal stakeholders; execute litigation strategy; independently instruct external counsel in the handling of contentious matters.
IP Management: Influence and guide policy making for protection and commercialization; track and analyze the impact of changes and developments in the law.
Liaisoning: Develop and manage relationships with equivalent level attorneys of peer group companies and external law firms.
Organization Planning & Budgeting: Identify needs with respect to personnel and external law firms for their defined geographical area.
Acquisition & Investments: Approve due diligence reports and issue legal memos; instruct external counsel and intermediaries.
Advisory: Advise middle management on general legal matters; clarify queries related to internal policies.
Qualifications:
Basic:
Minimum of a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 16 years of relevant legal contract management experience.
Work Model:
This role is a hybrid role with three days per week onsite in Atlanta office. We ask some flexibility in support of clients and business.
