Job Title: Senior Academic Administrator - Admissions
Reporting to: Head of Academic Administration

Job Summary:
This job description is indicative of the tasks anticipated and it is recognised that it would change and evolve over time. It will also vary in light of the colleges academic calendar.
Working as a part of a team responsible for centralised academic administrative functions and co-ordination of faculty administration systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the admissions function as per the Colleges Policies and Procedures.
- Responsible for the maintenance integrity of the application process for domestic and international students
- Preparation of management reports documents and statistical analysis on admission trends CAO.
- Monitor the quality of interaction between the admissions office and third parties i.e. international applicants Agents Griffith College staff
- Responsible for admissions requirements in accordance with QQI and College regulations for all programmes and distribution of them to the schools and the marketing department.
- Provide an annual statistical review of admissions for the College
- Maintain relationships with key members of staff such as QAE Faculty Heads Programme Directors Springboard office Marketing Officers ensure the delivery of a high quality robust application process for applicants
- Ensure that the marketing material reflects the admissions requirements for the College
- Maintain the integrity of the College applicant database
- Responsible for maintaining efficient systems for Applicant enquiries
- Manage online admissions process and assess problems
- Manage CAO processes (attending conferences comparison of statistics)
- Regular analysis of applications and comparison of courses
- Provide matriculation support to domestic and international Marketing Officers in all campuses collaborations and overseas offices.
- Provide supervision in the evaluation of applications from both Ireland and overseas.
- Develop an expertise in the evaluation of international applications to assist in the development of overseas student recruitment.
- Managing College Admissions officers including completion of quarterly PRP goals
Minimum Education / Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a 3rd level admissions related role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good planning and organisation skills
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Confidentiality and discretion to a high degree are expected
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
The following are desirable:
- Undergraduate qualification
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
