Behaviour Mentor What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with social emotional and behavioural challenges (in schools youth settings or mentoring roles)
- Calm empathetic and emotionally aware with strong de-escalation and communication skills
- A genuine passion for improving childrens wellbeing and educational experiences
- Confidence in using behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches
- A team player who works effectively with teachers SENCOs pastoral staff and external agencies
- Committed to inclusion building positive relationships and modelling constructive behaviour
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils helping them manage emotions and behaviour effectively
- Build trusting relationships and offer consistent structured guidance
- Encourage re-engagement with learning and support pupils in developing positive coping strategies
- Collaborate with teachers to maintain calm positive and inclusive classroom environments
