Behaviour Mentor What Were Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with social emotional and behavioural challenges (in schools youth settings or mentoring roles)
• Calm empathetic and emotionally aware with strong de-escalation and communication skills
• A genuine passion for improving childrens wellbeing and educational experiences
• Confidence in using behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches
• A team player who works effectively with teachers SENCOs pastoral staff and external agencies
• Committed to inclusion building positive relationships and modelling constructive behaviour

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils helping them manage emotions and behaviour effectively
• Build trusting relationships and offer consistent structured guidance
• Encourage re-engagement with learning and support pupils in developing positive coping strategies
• Collaborate with teachers to maintain calm positive and inclusive classroom environments
